Eva and her leg warmers

Eva had surgery on monday to remove her troublesome dew claws, which are forever getting torn and bloody since she is quite the athlete. The first day home was little rough, but now that she is feeling a bit better, she just looks stylish in her pink leg warmers, I mean bandages.

New Year Visitors

The new year brought with it new visitors to el rancho. First was dear Uncle George, on his drive back to San Diego from Louisiana. He took us to dinner in Johnson City, (about 8 miles from Blanco and hometown of LBJ!) for a lovely dinner and talk of things bohemian. Then came Britt and Emma, our exceedingly awesome friends from Baton Rouge. One of our activities was hopping the back fence and sneaking into the old dairy farm for some pictures. We found more dead things, which caused Eva some distress.
