It's been raining and cold, and did I mention raining, for many days now. Yes, I know we need the rain, but being holed up in the barn for a week without human contact nor sunlight is making us a wee bit mad. Eva too. We waited by the road all day for the mailman...
It's official - the digital camera is broken. So...until this very sad situation is remedied, (or until I get a scanner so I can post from the holga), we'll be posting some old pictures from around here, and of us, and some that well, I just like. Enjoy.
Sorry for the absence, we've been traveling. The Markel's had some tree work done to clean up the old oaks on the property. The first picture is before, the other three are after. They look beautiful.

A hurricane ran us out of the bayou and into the hill country of Texas. We are now safe from natural disasters,strange city folk and high rent. Life is very good...
