Moving into the barn was quite treacherous at first...lots of scary dead things all around. After some vigorous scrubbing, a good mopping, and an asthma attack, we revealed the first layers of what will be home. After recuperating with the city cousins in Austin, we were then happy to come back home and play outside by the fire pit we built on the lower forty.
After a little trouble leaving, we made our way to the beautiful hill country of Texas. Eva was a little nervous at first, but soon forgot her worries when she made a new friend. Already they have found plenty of dead things to roll in and skunks to get sprayed by. It will be a lasting friendship no doubt...
A hurricane ran us out of the bayou and into the hill country of Texas. We are now safe from natural disasters,strange city folk and high rent. Life is very good...
